Book and a bunch
of lyrics and words
by John Jeter
John Jeter fancies himself a Renaissance Dilettante who has done a lot of amazing things. He’s an author, writer, journalist, a very fast typist, entrepreneur, academic, world traveler, and, most importantly, he once appeared on Oprah!. He attended an Ivy League graduate school, where he had a great time and made some great friends, many of whom went on to become famous without him. He co-founded a successful music venue and helped launch the careers of some great artists (also famous now). His amazing wife, Kathy Laughlin, actually ran the business while he was distracted by his creativity. He now teaches at the same university his co-creator does and at another nearby institute of “higher learning.” He and Kathy remain married and live in Greenville, South Carolina, with two cats that haven’t learned their names.
Music, other lyrics
and startup capital
by S. David Berry
S. David Berry is a composer who rarely uses the S. in his name and never tells anybody what it stands for. Born in West “By God” Virginia, he grew up to become a remarkably talented musician and toured with his band, Anthem. They got so close to fame and fortune that he learned what it smells like. He has gone on to become an expert in many different smells. His early rock ‘n’ roll fashion choices haven’t helped him, so he now teaches composition and decomposition at a South Carolina university. David often says he will be dead soon, which is why he lives alone in Spartanburg, South Carolina, with no pets. If he had any, he would name them after The Beatles. Well … he does have a pet peeve, but it doesn’t count.
Introducing
Heaven
Heaven makes her/his/their/it/it’s/they/them first-ever debut as a leading character in a major musical-comedy premiere that is also appearing. Like Cher, Usher, Adele, Prince, Elvis, Tupac and Bach, Heaven goes by one name, although they been known by such stage names as Paradise, Eternity and Elysium; the latter is too hard for maître d’s to spell. They have appeared all over the globe and even throughout the cosmos, although they prefer to let personkind try to figure out where those places are. On the serious side, they believe art is made to be shared and paid for. They believe in almost everything in the world, especially cotton candy, bad jokes, good clouds, nice pets, humanity and love. She lives God-only-knows where.
